Those who mock belief, because they themselves disbelieve, are no better than those with belief that they choose to mock. I’m not religious, but it really bugs me when people without a religious belief choose to call people of faith close minded and ignorant. Honestly, with that statement, who is being the close minded one? There’s outliers on both sides, sadly. I just wish people could learn to respect other opinions, especially when they choose to express their opinions as well.
Valentine’s Day. Zac is cooking downstairs! I was really nervous at first but it smells delicious now, and after only eating chips and queso from Salsarita’s, I am sooo ready for food! He’s already given me 24 ring pops and 24 fun dips (so good!) and some beautiful orange flowers (he knows I hate red roses). It was such a beautiful day today! It was warm and sunny, hell I even drove around with the windows down and music blaring! It was such a lovely break from all the doom and gloom rain we had last week! It’s unfortunate that Valentine’s Day fell on the craziest week so far, but I guess I’ll be pulling an all-nighter just to pull through!
Anyway I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day! I hate the commercial, marketing, obnoxious nature of it, but I do love the day itself, and hopefully it will remind everyone to love each other, no matter religion, race, gender or SE status. Have a wonderful evening everyone! I’m off to spend it with the man who means everything to me!
